North Macedonia EDB Validator (UJP)
Enter an EDB as MK followed by exactly 13 digits. VIESAC checks the public UJP taxpayer search and keeps the print page as technical evidence.
What the North Macedonia EDB check confirms
The Public Revenue Office (UJP) publishes a taxpayer search. An exact EDB, shown as MK and 13 digits, opens one taxpayer card with the legal name, legal form, activity, registration number, bank account and address.
The public form does not show a separate DDV (VAT) yes or no flag. A valid result means the taxpayer record exists. It does not mean the entity is registered for DDV.
Questions about the North Macedonia EDB
What format does a North Macedonian EDB use?
The unique tax number is MK followed by exactly 13 digits, for example MK4030946257762. MKD is accepted and stored as MK. A company name is not a valid search.
Does this check confirm DDV registration?
No. The public UJP form has no DDV flag. The check confirms that a taxpayer record exists for that EDB.
Where does the company data come from?
From the public UJP card: name, legal form, activity, registration number, bank account, bank, street and place. The quick check on this page does not show the company name.
What is stored as evidence?
A full VIESAC audit stores the UJP response as XML with a SHA-256 hash of the official print page, plus a technical PDF of that print page.
Can I check many EDB numbers?
Yes. A VIESAC account can run the same UJP check from the audit form, the API, bulk upload and monitoring.
