Albania NIPT Validator (QKB)
Enter a NIPT as AL or ALB followed by the NUIS (one letter, eight digits, one letter). VIESAC checks the public QKB subject search. The quick check shows subject status, legal form and city — not the company name.
What the Albania NIPT check confirms
The National Business Center (QKB) publishes a public subject search at format.qkb.gov.al. A matching NIPT opens the subject card with legal name, legal form, city, activity and status. VALID on VIESAC means the subject status is Aktiv or Aprovuar.
The NIPT (NUIS) is Albania's business identifier for registry and tax purposes. EU VIES does not cover Albania. VIESAC queries QKB directly and can archive Ekstrakt i thjeshtë and Ekstrakt RPP PDFs when the registry returns them.
Questions about Albania NIPT
What format does an Albanian NIPT use?
The NUIS is one letter, eight digits and one letter, for example M42020024F. Internationally you may write AL or ALB before the NUIS. VIESAC stores the number under country code AL.
When is a NIPT valid on this tool?
VALID means QKB returned the same NIPT and the subject status is Aktiv or Aprovuar. Suspended, deregistered or missing subjects are treated as invalid for this quick check.
Does the quick check show the company name?
No. Like other national-registry tools on VIESAC, the free quick check never shows the legal name. Status, legal form and city may appear when QKB returns them. The full name is on the audit and certificate.
What evidence does a VIESAC audit store?
A full audit stores the QKB response as XML with SHA-256 hashes of archived extract PDFs (Ekstrakt i thjeshtë and Ekstrakt RPP when available). QKB does not issue a VIES-style consultation number.
Can I validate many Albanian NIPT numbers?
Yes. Use CSV bulk upload, the REST API (/api/v1/validate and /api/v1/audit), or monitoring from a VIESAC account.
