VIESAC Google Sheets Add-on Support

Get help with VAT checks, audit records, formulas, and your VIESAC connection in Google Sheets.

Connect your spreadsheet

  1. Install from Marketplace.
  2. Open your spreadsheet and choose Extensions → VIESAC VAT Compliance → Open VIESAC panel.
  3. Enter a VIESAC API key from your VIESAC account and select Connect.
  4. Use the panel to sync selected rows or create dated audits. The =VIESAC() and =VIESAC_RATE() formulas provide lightweight lookups.

Disconnect and access

In the VIESAC panel, select Disconnect spreadsheet to remove the saved connection for that spreadsheet. Existing audit data and evidence links remain in the sheet. Anyone with edit access to a connected spreadsheet can use its VIESAC connection, so use a dedicated key for each spreadsheet and revoke a key in your VIESAC account if its access should end.

Troubleshooting

  • If a check fails, confirm the VAT number and country code, your API key, and your available account credits.
  • If a row cannot be updated, check for protected ranges and editing permissions.
  • If an official registry is temporarily unavailable, try again later. Existing audits and certificates remain available.
